About Tibor Baksy

Tibor Baksy is an Investment Consultant in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Tibor graduated from the University of Maryland's College of Business and Management with a degree in Finance. He started his career in E.F. Hutton in 1987. He worked as an Investment Executive with PaineWebber and then as an Associate Vice President with Raymond James. In 1999, he founded Baksy & Associates to provide independent advice to his clients, both individual and corporate. With over 24 years of experience in the investment services field, Tibor works with both individuals and institutions to provide comprehensive investment planning. He holds a Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination), Series 65 (Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination), and Life, Health, and Variable Insurance licenses in the states of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Texas.

Tibor resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his wife and five children. In addition to Baksy & Associates, Tibor currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer of the Safe Harbor Child Advocacy Center and is a member of the St. Mary's Church finance council. Past experience includes service on the Board of Directors for the County of Stafford and City of Staunton Industrial Development Authority, both as Chairman and Vice-Chairman, Chairman of the Stafford County Electoral Board, and Vice-Chairman of the Stafford County Crimesolvers. In addition, he has lectured in the Stafford County School System on matters of economics and finance.
